LM2596 DC-DC Buck Converter Adjustable Step Down Power Supply Module
Couldn't load pickup availability
The LM2596 DC-DC Buck Converter Step-Down Power Supply Module is a step-down(buck) switching regulator, capable of driving a 3-A load with excellent line and load regulation. These devices are available in fixed output voltages of 3.3V, 5V, 12V, and an adjustable output version. The LM2596 series operates at a switching frequency of 150kHz, thus allowing smaller-sized filter components than what would be required with lower-frequency switching regulators.
This buck converter is internally compensated to minimize the number of external components to simplify the power supply design.
Since the LM2596 converter is a switch-mode power supply, its efficiency is significantly higher than popular three-terminal linear regulators, especially with higher input voltages. The LM2596 operates at a switching frequency of 150 kHz thus allowing smaller-sized filter components than what would be needed with lower-frequency switching regulators.

This LM2596 DC-DC buck converter step-down power module can drive a load up to 3A with high efficiency. It has a high-precision potentiometer for adjusting the output voltage.
The buck converter is a ubiquitous DC-DC converter that efficiently converts a high voltage to a low voltage efficiently. Efficient power conversion extends battery life, reduces heat, and allows for the creation of smaller gadgets. The buck converter can be used in a variety of interesting applications.
Yes, DC-DC converters are common in battery-driven, portable, and other high-efficiency systems that can deliver efficiencies greater than 95% while boosting, reducing, or inverting supply voltages.
The buck converter can reduce the voltage from the input to the output by constantly switching between on and off states. The converter is said to be in continuous mode if the current through the inductor never drops to zero during the entire process. Otherwise, it is in discontinuous mode.
The LM2596 DC-DC Buck Converter is capable of providing a continuously adjustable output voltage ranging from 1.5V to 35V.
